Final days of the Christchurch Living Advent Calendar
IT’s the final days of the Christchurch Living Advent Calendar with a whole host of treats behind each door still to be discovered.
Crowds have been highly entertained so far by the performers and musicians who have starred for a day.
Supported by 120 local businesses and organised by Christchurch Rotary Club, the calendar is opened each night at 6pm in a different location in the town.
Jan Banks from CLAC said there had been challenges this year with the terrible weather, but the calendar is still “going from strength to strength”.
She added: “We have had an excellent group of followers each evening come rain or shine.
“Many thanks to all our performers, sponsors, helpers and supporters – do join us for the remaining events.”
On Friday the calendar will open at Hoburne Dental Practice, Saturday it will be at the Red House Museum and on Sunday at Mad4Dance studio in Bargates where there will be a presentation sponsored by Little Lives in aid of the Elevate Foundation.
Monday 18th it will be at the Ye Olde George Inn, Tuesday 19th spectators are invited to the Loch and Quay restaurant, while on Wednesday the calendar will be at the Druitt Hall with a performance sponsored by Bransgore Rotary Club in aid of Bournemouth Blind Society.
Thursday it’s the turn of the Thomas Tripp pub followed by the Red House Museum again on Friday. On Saturday, United Taxis is sponsoring a show at Ye Olde George Inn.
The CLAC event ends on Christmas Eve at 2pm in Saxon Square.
