Win tickets to see Shakespears Sister at Bournemouth Pavilion
Competition closed
ROCK legends Shakespears Sister are set to play Bournemouth Pavilion next month as the 1980s superstars reunite on stage for the first time in 26 years.
The duo, comprising Siobhan Fahey and Marcella Detroit, famously split in 1993 at the Ivor Novello awards ceremony and did not talk again for another 25 years.
However, the band, whose hit Stay topped the UK charts for eight weeks in 1992, have now reunited with plans for a new album on the horizon.
Shakespears Sister rose to fame in the late 1980s, originally a solo act by singer-songwriter Fahey before she paired up with American musician Detroit. Together the pair released the albums Sacred Heart and Hormonally Yours, and enjoyed a string of top-20 hit singles.
The duo will be at Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre on Wednesday 13th November at 7.30pm, supported by Delena. Tickets are on sale now for £38 to £83 but we’ve teamed up with BH Live to give one lucky reader the chance to win a pair of tickets by answering the question in this week’s leisure competition.
For a chance to win tickets pick up a copy of the A&T - just 70p in the shops now.
The closing date for entries is Friday 1st November.
