MUSIC fans will be able to take a nostalgic trip down memory lane as the hugely popular touring variety show That’ll Be the Day returns to Southampton’s Mayflower Theatre.
After an incredible three decades of touring, the show, which is widely regarded as the UK’s number one rock and roll variety production, will arrive in Southampton for one night only on 31st March.
That’ll Be The Day is highly acclaimed for its special ability to evoke nostalgia with a blend of hilarious comedy and classic hits from the 1950s, 60s and 70s.
Originally established on the cabaret circuit in the late 1980s, the show began playing regional theatres in the early 1990s, and has now grown to perform over 200 shows a year.
Trevor Payne, who first created the show back in 1986, still directs, produces and stars in the production today.
The one-night only show starts at 6.30pm and tickets are on sale for £26.50 to £29.50 by we’ve teamed up with the Mayflower Theatre to give one lucky reader the chance to win a pair of tickets to the show by answering the question in this week’s leisure competition.
