Police seeking witnesses and dash cam footage after car collision on Rollestone Road in Holbury leaves pedestrian fighting for his life

POTENTIAL witnesses and video footage are being sought after a collision in Holbury left a pedestrian fighting for his life.

The casualty, a man in his 60s, was struck by a Ford Fiesta on Rollestone Road shortly after 10pm on Saturday 29th March.

Taken by ambulance to hospital, he was said by Hampshire police to still be there today (Tuesday), having suffered serious and potentially life-threatening injuries.

It is believed there were some people who may have seen the incident, but left the scene before officers arrived. Among these was another vehicle thought to have been present at the time it happened.

A force spokesperson said: “Were you in the area at this time, and did you see what happened? Do you have any dash cam footage of the incident? Please get in touch to tell us what you saw.”
