Hampshire police appealing for witnesses after dog bites Forest woman’s face on Exbury Road in Blackfield




A WOMAN needed hospital treatment after being bitten in the face by a dog.

Hampshire police are appealing for witnesses to the incident on Exbury Road, Blackfield, between 7.30pm and 8.30pm on Wednesday 3rd July.

A police spokesperson said it left the victim with a wound above her eye which required hospital treatment.

“We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area of Dark Water Car Park, Exbury Road and Blackfield Cemetery at the time of the incident,” they said.

“Did you witness the incident itself? Do you have any footage of the incident, including CCTV, dash cam, mobile phone or doorbell camera?

“Did you spot a man, aged in his 70s and wearing glasses, in the area at the time, walking two Rhodesian ridgeback-type dogs? Do you know who this man is?”
