A TEENAGER has appeared in court accused of stealing a designer watch among a haul of items snatched during a football match at Brockenhurst College.

The 16-year-old from Totton, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is alleged to have trespassed on the college building on 27th March, Southampton magistrates heard.

As well as a Links watch, the youth was said to have taken a Lacoste wallet, five mobile phones, Nike sliders flip-flops, car keys, a pair of trainers, a T-shirt, a tobacco pouch, wireless headphones and keys.

The total value of the alleged stolen goods was unknown.

No plea was entered to the theft charge or another of failing to comply with the supervision requirements of a detention and training order previously imposed at Southampton Crown Court.

The defendant was remanded to council accommodation to reappear for a plea hearing on Monday.
