Letter: ‘Crowd was kettled at Milford music festival.’

I sadly must disagree with the Milford festival spokesperson (A&T 28th July); the festival did not bring the whole community together. The volume of people on Sunday combined with the set out on the green effectively “kettled“ the crowd, and blocked access to so many.

The set up was unsafe for the numbers attending and needs rethinking.

If the roads are closed, put the trade vehicles on the road.

Or follow the seafood festival and ticket the even to ensure it’s safe.

So many MoS residents couldn’t access it but faced distribution from it.

Rethink please.
