New Forest Escapes team raise £600 for children's charity Simon Says in New Forest Marathon




A TEAM from a holiday cottage letting agency were “thrilled” to have raised over £600 for a Hampshire youth bereavement charity by completing the 5km race at the New Forest Marathon.

A 15-strong team from Lymington-based New Forest Escapes turned out to raise the money for Simon Says which helps children dealing with loss.

Jane Wilkinson, managing director of everyday happiness at New Forest Escapes, said: “Supporting local is something that is extremely important to us, and so that we can help a range of organisations our chosen charities are each put forward by our team members throughout the year.

“Fundraising for Simon Says was a unanimous decision, and we couldn’t have been happier to exceed our £500 target, raising over £620 to help support children in Hampshire who have suffered loss.”
