TWO goals in both halves saw Blackfield & Langley saunter past Waterside rivals, AFC Fawley, with a 4-0 win at Gang Warily Recreation Centre.

The home side made a blistering start scoring within five minutes when Rudy Plummer headed straight in from a corner kick. The prolific goalscorer is back playing with Blackfield, a club he was the top scorer for in two successive seasons.

The second came in the 34th when Cassius Newton beat Fawley's Joe Coombes from the edge of the 18-yard box.

Blackfield put the game to bed in the second half, with midfielder Dom Panesar-Dower scoring a brace of goals in the 54th and 63rd minute.

Blackfield & Langley have won all their matches except one against Southern League's AFC Totton. Their impressive form has seen them ascend to second in the table, and avoiding defeat in their next game against Hythe & Dibden will see them qualify for the knockout stage.
