THE Gearlink Kawasaki team, owned by Hinton Admiral based Michael de Bidaph, have announced their rider line-up for 2019.

New signing Fraser Rogers will contest the Bennetts British Superbike Championship. Ben Wilson returns to racing in the Dickies Supersport class after a long absence due to a nasty leg injury.

Up and coming

They will be joined by young up and coming rider Ross Twyman who will compete alongside Ben in the Supersport class. The 23-year-old from Canterbury was having a strong season last year and was sitting in third in the Championship when injury forced him out of the remainder of the year after Thruxton.

Gearlink Racing was formed in 2005 by Michael and his late wife Norma de Bidaph with the purchase of three Kawasaki ZX6RRs to contest the British Supersport race series. Success followed success and in 2008 Gearlink Racing was appointed the official Kawasaki Motors UK British Supersport Team.

Gearlink Kawasaki successes

Since then the team has achieved 152 podium positions, including 52 wins. They have won two National Superstock Championships and have been runners-up three times in the British Supersport Championship.

In 2014 they made their debut in the MCE British Superbike Championship with a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R and continue to improve on their results, gaining further points in the 2018 MCE British Superbike Championship.

In 2019 they will be celebrating their 12th year as the official Kawasaki Motors UK British Supersport Team and are proud to be part of Kawasaki’s Team Green Racing family.
