NEW Milton Town turned in a superb performance to beat Andover Town and end a three-game winless stretch.

After a goalless first 45, hosts New Milton raced away with three unanswered goals from Chris Long, Tyrell Sampson and Callum Parnell.

The first half was a tight affair which the hosts just about shaded and, three minutes into the second half, New Milton's top-scorer tucked the ball past keeper Karl Stinborn-Buss.

At this point, the Linnets had the wind in their sails, and Andover were sitting ducks as defender Parnell and number 10 Sampson sealed all three points.

New Milton have two games left, first away against Laverstock & Ford and then a home match against Romsey Town.

New Milton: L. Dennison, E. Pearce-Eavis, C. Parnell, A. Booker, B. Hamerston, G. Richardson, T. Rudd, C. Turner, C. Long, T. Sampson, N. McCarthy-Gardiner. Subs: E, Lines, J. Dacombe, G. Deem, F. Horlock.
