Milford Tennis & Squash Club gets ready for half-term training camps
Milford Tennis & Squash Club is gearing up for a smashing good time this coming half-term, inviting local youngsters to learn the game of tennis.
The camps, which cater to children aged five to eight, eight to 10, and 11 to 16 years, will be open to anyone just starting or looking to improve their skills.
Dan Hitchins will host the Red Camp for younger players aged five to eight on Monday 17th February. The focus will be on introducing the basics of tennis in a fun, energetic environment. With age-appropriate drills, games, and plenty of tennis action, he will aim to help the children love learning and improving their skills on the court.
On Wednesday Hitchens will host the Orange and Green Camp for kids aged eight to 10 years old. The focus will be on footwork, coordination, shot technique and match play in a fun environment.
Finally, Caitlin Inglis’s tennis camp, for players aged 11 to 16, is designed to develop tennis fundamentals through a variety of interactive exercises and drills. It will be suitable for all skill levels to improve their technique while making new friends and enjoying the sport.
