Home improvements company doubles size of Pennington premises
CONSERVATORY specialists Forest Edge Home Improvements will be expanding into new premises.
The business, which currently resides at 56 South Street in Pennington, will open at number 60 on 19th November.
Owners Ben Kemp and James Elliott said the new showroom is twice the size and will offer a more varied range of products, including two fully built conservatories, bi-folding doors and weatherboarding. There are also plans to expand the 10-strong workforce.
Ben and James have been working together for over 15 years in the home improvement industry, specialising in double glazing and conservatories, and established Forest Edge in 2016.
“Having worked at the same company for over 12 years, we decided to branch out on our own to try to inject some youth into an ageing industry,” said Ben. “Having seen what parts of the industry are not working, we wanted to offer customers a more fluid experience from start to finish.”
Forest Edge offers all the latest energy efficient products, including aluminium, UPVC and hardwood, which can also be incorporated into the huge range of conservatories it sells.
The firm also provides a planning service for builds which require council approval, which the pair say is not normally undertaken by companies within the industry.
Ben continued: “We offer virtual reality guides by way of our in-house headsets to give customers a guided tour of each of our conservatories without leaving the comfort of our showroom.
“We can also provide clients with a photographic portfolio of most of our previous installations.”
Ben and James are FENSA MTC qualified surveyors and installers, and all the installers working at Forest Edge are FENSA MTC qualified.
A raffle will be held at the official opening on 19th November, with the chance to win a composite door fully installed and guaranteed.
