Dashcam footage shows motorcyclist forcing cows off the road near Brockenhurst in the New Forest
ANOTHER impatient motorist has been filmed in the New Forest – this time a motorcyclist revving his engine to scare a group of cows blocking his way on a New Forest road.
It follows dashcam footage of a delivery van last month swerving off the road to squeeze past a New Forest pony.
The video, taken on the approach to Wootton bridge near Brockenhurst last Friday, shows the motorcyclist driving at speed past waiting traffic and coming to an abrupt stop close to the cows.
While there is no sound, the driver, James Pullen, whose dashcam caught the incident, says the rider then revved his engine and the animals are seen running amok.
Mr Pullen told the A&T: "As you will see a motorcycle overtakes stationary traffic and revs his engine to force the cattle off the road.
"I was surprised the cows weren’t hurt by his impatience and even more so that cars weren’t damaged."
As reported in the A&T at the end of November, the Royal Mail has launched an investigation after footage of their delivery van swerving past a pony in Minstead was posted online.
A mail spokesperson said they were "very disappointed" to see the video, which was posted on Facebook by the New Forest Commoners Defence Association.
