THE Royal Lymington Yacht Club has revamped its corporate events and dining facilities which are now available for hire to non-member local businesses and individuals.

The premises in Bath Road now features a dedicated hospitality area with its own bar – ideal for exhibitions, conferences, training sessions or social functions.

The first-floor rooms can accommodate groups of up to 100 and are equipped with audio-visual technology, while the dining facilities can take up to 250, with a menu for all dietary needs that features locally sourced ingredients.

On the ground floor, the club has two rooms, both ideally suited to water activity briefings for 10-15 people, and the overall facility boasts fantastic views across the Solent.

One of the top racing venues on the south coast, the facility continues to host national, world and Olympic class events, as well as nurture young talent.

It promotes yachting - sail and power - with an extensive racing, cruising, motorboat, junior sailing and social programme, and is well placed to host leadership and corporate team building opportunities that can include on the water activities.

Club sailing manager Vicky Lean can work with clients to configure skill-appropriate team building and leadership development exercises on board racing yachts or in dinghies.

Qualified race officials plus support boats and equipment are available to run any size of sailing or power event, and the club’s pontoons are a safe and convenient pick-up and drop-off point for RIB charters.
